Colin Moran expected to be the everyday 3B

Pirates' manager Derek Shelton said "I don't think it's an open 3B competition. I think you're going to see Colin Moran there a lot." (Jason Mackey on Twitter)

Moran will see most of his playing time at third base, but is expected to rotate with Josh Bell and Gregory Polanco as the team's DH. He slashed .277/.322/.429 with 13 homers, 80 RBI, and 46 runs scored across 503 plate appearances in 2019. Moran is currently 52nd among all third basemen in the latest expert consensus rankings.
