Dillon Peters dealing with an oblique injury

by Brad Camara | Angels Correspondent | Fri, Jul 3rd 7:50pm EDT

LHP Dillon Peters is dealing with an oblique injury and" will be out a few weeks," per Angels' GM Billy Eppler (Jeff Fletcher on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Peters sustained oblique and ankle injuries in March and is still recovering. His ankle injury is 100 percent, but the oblique injury will keep him shelved for a few weeks. Peters is in danger of missing Opening Day. It is unclear at this time when Peters will return to the Angels' rotation. The 27-year-old owned a (4-4) record along with a 5.38 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 55 strikeouts across 72 innings in 2019.
