The Sox were being cautious with Devers after he had possible interaction with someone with COVID-19 leading up to summer camp. However, he has tested negative three times now and it ready to rock and roll. Still just 23 years old, Devers hit .311 with 32 homers, 115 RBI, 129 runs scored, eight stolen bases, and a .916 OPS in 2019.
