Fantasy Impact:
Mateo, who was traded to the Padres in late June, has a confirmed case of COVID-19. Mateo is experiencing some mild symptoms, but manager Jayce Tingler said those symptoms are improving. Mateo's status for the start of the season is unclear, since he'll need to produce two negative tests before he's able to rejoin the team.
