Cano has been absent the past two days from summer camp, but the reason for his absence was not announced. “There’s a variety of reasons why players are here or not here on a given day, and we’re going to o protect those players’ rights,” said Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen. An update should be provided by the team soon about why Cano has been absent the last couple of days.
