John Means named Opening Day starter

by Carmen Maiorano | Orioles Correspondent | Fri, Jul 10th 5:45pm EDT

John Means has been named the Opening Day starter for the Orioles, against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. (Dan Connolly of The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

Means was always going to be the Opening Day starter, it was just a matter of being announced. Means pitched to a 3.60 ERA over 155 innings last year, but his lack of strikeouts and potential BABIP regression is concerning. Means is going just outside the top 400 in drafts.
