Gerritt Cole tossed 5 2/3 innings in an intrasquad game Friday, unofficially allowing two runs on four hits while striking out seven, per Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record.
Fantasy Impact:
Cole threw 87 pitches on Friday which will be his last start before going on Opening Day on July 24th against the Nationals. Expect Cole to have a full workload on Thursday and the ace should be started in all fantasy leagues.
