Dylan Covey was acquired by the Red Sox from the Rays. He has replaced Bobby Poyner in the player pool. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Covey may see emergency innings as part of a decimated Red Sox rotation, be a long reliever, or be sent to Boston's alternate site. Regardless, his career 6.54 ERA in 250 innings means that he is not fantasy relevant at this point.
