Paul DeJong went 1-for-2 with a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Royals.

DeJong belted a two-run shot off Scott Barlow in the fifth to give the Cardinals a 5-2 lead over the Royals. The 26-year-old is expected to be the team's starting SS in 2020. He slashed .233/.318/.444 with 30 homers, 78 RBI, 97 runs and nine stolen bases across 159 games in 2019.
