Miles Mikolas (1-0) allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Royals. He earned his first exhibition win of the year.

Mikolas is fully recovered from a strained flexor tendon in his right forearm. He was solid in Wednesday's win, allowing two earned runs while striking out four. The 31-year-old owned a (9-14) record, 4.16 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 144:32 K:BB across 184 innings in 2019. Mikolas is next projected start is Tuesday against the Brewers.
