Tom Murphy (foot) to start season on IL

It was revealed that Tom Murphy has a broken bone in his foot and will begin the season on the IL. (Jen Mueller on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mariners don't expect the recovery to take long, but with the Mariners opening the season tomorrow, they were forced to place him on the IL. They also don't want him to rush his recovery, which will hurt his chances of playing in a significant amount of games this season.
