Dinelson Lamet to start second game of season

Padres' manager Jayce Tingler has penciled in Dinelson Lamet for San Diego's second game of the season on Saturday, according to AJ Cassavell. (A.J. Cassavell of MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Lamet is a popular sleep pick for 2020 after posting a solid 4.07 ERA in 2019 over 21 starts, racking up an impressive 105 strikeouts in just 73 innings after coming back from Tommy John surgery. He does have some control issues (career 4.0 BB/9) and many think he doesn't offer much variety in his pitch selection. He just turned 28 so the shortened 2020 campaign will be a crucial one as he seeks to establish himself as a top of the rotation starter in San Diego.
