Yordan Alvarez reportedly weeks away from returning

Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez wasn't able to do any baseball activities while he was away from the team and missed the entirety of summer camp for undisclosed reasons. As a result, Astros manager Dusty Baker said on Friday that Alvarez and Jose Urquidy "missed a lot of time. It's going to take probably almost equal time that they've missed to get back." This isn't the news that fantasy owners wanted to hear, as it sounds like Alvarez is at least two weeks away from returning. Monitor his status for updates in the coming weeks, but make other arrangements for the short term.
