Joe Musgrove (0-1) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking seven in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Cardinals. He took his first loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Musgrove was one out from a quality start, but hurt by the long ball as he surrendered two leadoff homers in Friday's loss. He tossed 99 pitches, 66 of them for strikes. Pirates manager Derek Shelton said after the game that he removed Musgrove from the game early due to fatigue. The 27-year-old will look to rebound in Wednesday's start against the Brewers.
