Oliver Drake earns the first Rays save of 2020

by Brendan Tuma | Sun, Jul 26th 10:03am EDT

Oliver Drake came into a 4-1 game in the ninth inning on Saturday versus the Blue Jays and slammed the door to earn his first save of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Drake struck out one, needing just 14 pitches to retire the side. Nick Anderson was used in the most high-leverage situation of the game, recording four outs while taking care of the heart of Toronto's lineup. Drake, however, is the one who got the ever-elusive fantasy stat. Drake earned two saves last season and put up a 3.21 ERA in 56 innings. There's no guarantee he even secures another save opportunity this year, but he's worth picking up for anyone in need of closers.
