Jeff Mathis went 1-for-1 with a triple and a walk in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Mathis saw his first bit of action for the season on Saturday and slapped a triple with empty bases. The 16 year vet has only recorded seven triples in his career prior to Saturday, so it's good to see from fresh legs to start the season from the veteran catcher. Mathis was unable to score and was subbed out later in the game for Jose Trevino.
