Sean Newcomb falls short of win due to workload restrictions Sunday
by Mike Maher | Braves Correspondent | Mon, Jul 27th 9:54am EDT
Braves starter Sean Newcomb allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out one over 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the New York Mets on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Newcomb would have been in line for an easy win with the Braves blowing out the Mets on Sunday, but he was pulled in the fourth inning due to workload limitations. He is currently scheduled to face the Mets again in his next start and might be allowed to stretch his pitch count a little further then.
