Fantasy Impact:
Royals manager Mike Matheny stated that Zimmer will be on a 50-pitch limit so he should only go three to four innings at the most. He made one relief appearance so far this season, pitching a scoreless inning against Cleveland on 7/26 giving up one hit and striking out three. The pitch count caps Zimmer's upside but if he shows well there could be some streaming appeal down the road. He could wind up having a decent audition given the weakness of the opponent.
