Whit Merrifield went 2-for-4 with with a double and two runs scored as the Royals lost to the Tigers 5-4 on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Merrifield now has a six-game hitting streak; Wednesday was his second multi-hit effort in the last three games. He's locked to start the year with a .400 OBP while slugging .783. You'd like to see him swipe a few more bags, he only has one stolen base thus far, but that's nit picking. He should keep it rolling on Thursday as the Royals finish their series in Detroit.
