Nick Madrigal close to call up

Nick Madrigal is "very close" to being ready to join the big club, said White Sox Director of Player Development Chris Getz. (Chicago Times)

Madrigal did not make the 30-man roster, but was included on the team's taxi squad. The fourth pick in the 2018 draft is getting close to being called up to the main roster. “His starter kit is pretty good as is, but we want to make sure we’re getting the most out of him right out of the gate," Getz added. Madrigal batted .311 with four homers and 55 RBI in 120 game in three seasons in minors. The 23-year-old is a must own own in dynasty-leagues and worth stashing in re-draft formats.
