Mets starter Marcus Stroman (calf) threw four innings of live batting practice in a simulated game on Friday that went well, according to Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record. (Justin Toscano on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Stroman also went through fielding drills and did not suffer any setbacks as he continues to work his way back from a left calf injury. He has already been throwing bullpen sessions but has been unable to run at full speed, so the fielding drills were a key aspect here. Stroman doesn't yet have a timeline for a return, but it sounds like he is getting close.
