Scott Oberg (blood clots) placed on 45-day IL, could miss the entire season

Rockies reliever Scott Oberg will be out "a while" and could miss the entire season after blood clots returned to his arm, according to The Athletic's Nick Groke. He was placed on the 45-day IL on Sunday. (Nick Groke on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Oberg has yet to make an appearance this season due to a back injury and has dealt with blood clots in the past. He had a breakout year in 2018 and worked his way into high-leverage situations over the last two seasons, but blood clots can be life-threatening if not caught and treated properly. Monitor his status in the coming weeks, but he is unlikely to return any time soon.
