Mookie Betts day-to-day with swollen finger after X-rays come back negative

by Mike Maher | Dodgers Correspondent | Sun, Aug 2nd 8:17pm EDT

Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks with a sore left middle finger, but X-rays came back negative and Betts is considered day-to-day, according to MLB insider Bob Nightengale. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Dodgers travel to San Diego for a three-game series with the Padres beginning on Monday, but it isn't immediately known if Betts is going to be in the lineup. The Dodgers have a deep bench and the luxury of having extra outfielders, so it would not be surprising to see manager Dave Roberts elect to rest Betts for a day or two.
