Edwin Diaz threw a scoreless seventh inning on Sunday against the Braves, allowing one walk and striking out one.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz entered the game with the Mets trailing 3-0. Mets manager Luis Rojas recently said the team would reevaluating the team's closer role and it appears as if Diaz will be used in some low-leverage spots for the time being. It ultimately wouldn't be a complete surprise to see him get another crack at the ninth-inning job later this summer.
