Mike Soroka exited Monday's game early with lower leg injury

Mike Soroka left Monday's start in the top of the third inning with an apparent lower leg injury. He was replaced by Chris Rusin. (Grant McAuley on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Soroka's tweaked his right leg as he attempted to leave the mound to cover first base following a J.D. Davis groundout to Freddie Freeman. He fell to the ground and needed to be assisted off the field as he could put no weight on his leg. We don't want to speculate on the severity of the injury but the fact he needed to be helped off isn't a good sign. He went 2.1 innings with four walks, three earned runs, and no strikeouts prior to exiting but the book is still not closed on him.
