Kirby Yates allowed a solo homer in the ninth inning on Monday against the Dodgers but was still able to secure the save and preserve the 5-4 win Padres victory.
Luckily Yates was given a two-run lead in this one. The solo homer came off the bat of Cody Bellinger but was the only hit he allowed. It appears as if the 33-year-old will continue getting save chances for now. Drew Pomeranz appears to be next in line should Yates continue to struggle.
