Ohtani was diagnosed with a Grade 1-2 strain of the flexor pronator mass. He will not pitch again this season and will not throw for another four-to-six weeks. The two-way player is expected to be the Angels’ DH once he returns to action. Ohtani is day-to-day and is absent from Tuesday’s lineup.
