Kevin Newman went 1-for-1 with two RBI in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Twins.

Newman hit a two-run pinch hit single in the bottom of the ninth to lead the Pirates to a 7-6 win over the Twins. He didn't start for the second time in the last three contests. Newman has collected a hit in four of his last five games. The 27-year-old is slashing .189/.231/.270 with one home run, four RBI and three runs across 37 at bats this season.
