Detroit Tigers closer Joe Jimenez struggled in a 17-13 win over the Pirates on Friday. Jimenez was called upon to protect a 12-9 lead in the ninth inning but let in three runs, allowing the Pirates to tie the game.
Fantasy Impact:
Jimenez didn't have it on Friday, serving up a two-run homer to Adam Frazier. That goes into the books as his first blown save of the season. Overall, Jimenez has a 0-1 record, 7.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, four saves, and four strikeouts in six innings of work.
