Corbin Burnes allowed one run on one hit and three walks while striking out eight across five 1/3 innings in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Reds. He did not factor into the decison.
Fantasy Impact:
Burnes came in for relief of Brett Anderson, and yielded only one run across five 1/3 innings. He threw a total of 77 pitches, including 14 swinging strikes. Burnes has pitched well enough to earn a spot in the Brewers rotation, owning a 2.92 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 19:8 K:BB in 12 1/3 innings this year.
