Framber Valdez was impressive in Saturday's start against the Athletics, tossing seven innings of one-run ball while striking out nine.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez gave up two runs but just one was earned. He also allowed seven hits and one walk as he unfortunately took the loss. The 26-year-old now has a 2.04 ERA on the season and should be immediately picked up in most leagues. Start with with confidence in his next outing against the Mariners.
