Martin Perez gave up two earned runs on three hits while walking two batters and striking out five over 5 2/3 innings in the loss to the Rays on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez pitched a solid game but the bullpen could not hold it together giving up six runs in the seventh inning. The veteran starter is now 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.22 WHIP on the season and is worth owning in deeper fantasy leagues.
