Greg Bird (calf) was activated off the 10-day injured list and designated for assignment by the Rangers on Tuesday. (John Blake on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Bird signed a contract with the Rangers in August, and shortly landed on the IL with a calf injury. He didn’t appear in one game for the Rangers and was removed from the 40-man roster. Bird will look to latch onto another team this season.
