Twins pitcher Rich Hill threw a bullpen session Tuesday and everything went well, according to a report from The Athletic's Dan Hayes. He is expected to face live hitters when the Twins return to Minnesota this weekend. (Dan Hayes on Twitter)
Hill was a popular waiver wire candidate in leagues that didn't draft until July since he was expected to miss the first few months of the season and largely went undrafted in redraft leagues in March. He tossed five scoreless innings in his season debut at the end of July, but he landed on the IL shortly thereafter with shoulder fatigue. If all goes well this weekend, he could return to the Twins next week.
