Chris Bassitt hangs around for second win of the season

by Aaron Hudson | Athletics Correspondent | Thu, Aug 13th 10:01am EDT

Chris Bassitt got the win Wednesday night against the Angels lasting 5.2 innings allowing five hits (two were home runs) and four earned runs while striking out four.

Fantasy Impact:

Some regression was expected after three good outings to start the season but Bassitt still holds a 2.42 ERA and 0.90 WHIP through four starts and 22.1 innings with 19 strikeouts. He might not pile up a ton of quality starts but the A's are capable of providing run support. If you are chasing wins Bassitt can be deployed in deep leagues or daily formats depending on the match up.
