Jose Peraza exited Thursday's game against the Rays after being hit by a comebacker below his right knee while pitching, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports. (Ian Browne on Twitter)

Peraza was appearing as a pitcher in a game that the Red Sox trailed by 11 runs. Manager Ron Roenicke said the utility man is likely going to miss Friday's series opener against the Yankees but should be ready to return Saturday, according to Bill Koch of The Providence Journal.
