Austin Slater hit soft toss on Friday and could be available to DH in the next couple of days per Giants manager Gabe Kapler.
Fantasy Impact:
Slater has been sidelined since Tuesday with elbow soreness but is trending in the right direction in his recovery and could play as early as this weekend. He should still be considered day-to-day but, for now, it appears he'll avoid a stint on the IL. Across 38 AB's this year, Slater has a pristine .342 BA and a 1.076 OPS to go along with three home runs, four RBI, and five stolen bases.
