Chad Kuhl takes the loss on Friday against the Reds

by Jon Mathisen | White Sox Correspondent | Sat, Aug 15th 1:04am EDT

Chad Kuhl allowed three runs on four hits while striking out six and walking one across five innings in the Pirates 8-1 loss to the Reds on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Kuhl was victimized by Jesse Winker who took him deep not once, but twice, the second of which was a two-run shot. Other than that, he pitched relatively well, striking out six and walking one. The Pirates gave him no run support and he was saddled with the loss. Over four appearances (14.0 innings) in 2020, Kuhl has posted a 3.21 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and an 18:4 K/BB ratio. He definitely has some mixed league appeal and is worth a stream next week when he takes on the Indians at home.
