The Tigers are expected to activate Buck Farmer (groin) from the 10-day injured list Thursday when eligible. (Evan Woodbery on Twitter )

Farmer was placed on the 10-day injured list on August 10th with a strained left groin. He is expected to be activated from the injured list Wednesday or Thursday. Farmer owns a 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 1:3 K:BB across six 1/3 innings this season.
