Starlin Castro will have wrist surgery on Friday to put a pin in his broken right wrist according to Nats manager Davey Martinez. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This undoubtedly rules Castro out for the remainder of the regular season but he's got a shot to return if the Nationals were to make the playoffs. "Just get to the playoffs, and I'll be back" the veteran second baseman said. Castro was off to a decent start before breaking his wrist, slashing .267/.302/.450 with two home runs and four RBI across 60 at-bats.
