Corey Knebel was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday due to a strained left hamstring. (Milwaukee Brewers on Twitter )

Knebel will miss the next few weeks due to a strained left hamstring. He has struggled this season, owning a 9.45 ERA, 2.25 WHIP and a 7:4 K:BB across six 2/3 innings. Mark Mathias was recalled in a corresponding move.
