Kris Bryant (finger/wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to August 19th due to a left finger sprain and left wrist issue. (Jordan Bastian on Twitter )

Bryant has missed the last five contests due to a left finger sprain and left wrist issue. He has been getting daily treatments on his wrist, but will need additional time to recover. The transaction is retroactive to August 19th. David Bote will handle third base duties until Bryant is able to return.
