Justin Dunn grabs second-consecutive QS, takes no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Mon, Aug 31st 12:04pm EDT

Justin Dunn took a no-decision on Sunday when he worked six scoreless innings while only giving up one hit and walking four batters to go along with six punchouts in the M's 2-1 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Fantasy Impact:

The young right-hander notched his second-straight quality start as he kept the Angels at bay through six innings. He was a little shaky with his command, though, throwing 40 of his 96 pitches for balls and walking four batters. He was still able to limit the damage and lower his ERA to a 4.33 with a 1.259 WHIP with a 21:16 K/BB ratio across 27 innings (six starts). He'll toe the rubber at home against the Rangers in his next start, he's worth streaming in that one as he picked up a pair of wins in two starts over Texas earlier this year.
