David Phelps traded to Phillies

Brewers reliever David Phelps has been traded to the Philadelphia Phillies, according to MLB insider Ken Rosenthal on Twitter. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Phillies entered last week with the worst bullpen in baseball and have now acquired Phelps from the Brewers and Brandon Workman and Heath Hembree from the Red Sox as they continue to rebuild the unit. In 12 appearances this season, Phelps has a 2.77 ERA, 0.69 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts over 13 innings. He is not likely to see save opportunities but should regularly see high-leverage work, giving him value in leagues that reward for holds.
