Nationals starter Max Scherzer allowed three earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out six over six innings in Wednesday's loss to the Phillies. The loss drops him to 3-2 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer didn't have much of a chance on Wednesday with the Nationals being held to four hits and no runs. Through eight starts this season, Scherzer is 3-2 with a 3.95 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts over 43 1/3 innings. His next start is scheduled to come against the Rays at home.
