David Ortiz returned to the lineup Thursday after sitting out several days with dehydration and general soreness. He served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 with an RBI.
Fantasy Impact:
Part of the reason the Red Sox sat David Ortiz is that he really does not need to play a full slate of spring training games. And at age 39, Boston may give him days off here and there during the season to help preserve him for a possible playoff run.
