Joey Bart hits first career triple in close win

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Sep 6th 12:57pm EDT

Joey Bart went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a run scored as the Giants held on to beat the D-backs 4-3 on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Bart crushed a two-out triple to plate Brandon Belt off reliever Artie Lewicki in the bottom of the sixth to put the Giants up 3-1. Mauricio Dubon would follow with another triple to score Bart in the next at-bat. The rookie catcher came close to hitting the first home run of the year with his triple but it was still a solid day at the dish for him. He's hitting .271 with a .727 OPS over 48 at-bats.
