Sean Murphy goes yard in defeat

Sean Murphy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the A's 5-3 loss to the Padres on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Murphy crushed his third long ball of 2020 off Garrett Rirchards in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull Oakland within two runs of San Diego but they would ultimately lose. The 25-year old backstop generated some off-season buzz in fantasy circles but has failed to meet the hype. He's slashing .213/.322/.373 with three home runs and six RBI across 75 at-bats.
