Lou Trivino works a scoreless ninth inning in win

Lou Trivino worked a clean ninth inning, needing just three pitchers to retire the side in Oakland's 6-0 win over the Astros on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

It was a 3-0 game going into the bottom of the eighth inning and it was setting up for a save opportunity for Liam Hendriks. But Oakland tacked on three insurance runs and Hendriks' services were no longer needed so Trivino was tasked with closing the door on the Astros. The right-hander has been solid this year with a 2.76 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 18:5 K/BB ratio over 16.1 innings. He has virtually no fantasy appeal, though, as he doesn't get save chances nor has he registered a hold this year.
