Brad Miller 1-3 with RBI and Run scored in Game Two Tuesday

by Lucas Babits-Feinerman | Padres Correspondent | Wed, Sep 9th 1:35am EDT

Brad Miller got a RBI on a fielder's choice and came around to score on a bases loaded walk in the Cardinals five run third inning of Game Two Tuesday. He added a leadoff single in the bottom of the fifth but was removed for a pinch runner after the hit. The Cardinals moved to 18-17 with the win.

Fantasy Impact:

Miller is slashing .282/.404/.541 in 85 at-bats this season. He has second base, third base and outfield eligibility in Yahoo leagues and bats behind OBP machine, Paul Goldschmidt, for the Cardinals so there should be plenty of RBI opportunities. His walk rate of 17.3% is nearly double his career average of 9.7%. He hasn't gotten a chance at regular at-bats since 2016 when he played in 152 games and hit 30 home runs for the Rays. Owners in 12-team redraft leagues can add Miller if he is available on the Waiver Wire and ride him as long as he is hot.
